Missions - India Trip
In December, 2005, I traveled to India with the Thunder & Lightning Ministry group from Richland, Iowa. There were
four on the ministry team who traveled to Mumbai, India by plane. We met our host from India in Mumbai and traveled
by train and van for six hours to Navapur. The ministry team held a crusade open to the public every evening in a
rural area where we saw many people commit their lives to Jesus and many were healed.
We saw crowds of about 3000 people. The presence of the Lord was very great as was revealed in the digital
photos.
I felt that God was saying this was a new day and that God was doing a new thing. I felt that God was saying a revival
fire was going to breakout in this rural area and this fire would spread over India and the world. I felt God was saying
people from this area would go to the world and would touch the world.
We held a pastor’s conference and a women’s leadership conference during the daytime hours under a tent.
We had about 300 pastors attend and about 150 women and children. This was a very rich time of worship and
teaching where lives were changed. I spoke to the women on the subject of “The Art of Hearing God” and the women
seemed to be impacted strongly!
We met wonderful Christians who love God and have sacrificed much to commit to Jesus. These Christians have
been persecuted and risk their lives for their stand for Jesus. God showed me He loves India and has claimed India
for Himself. The presence of the Lord in our meetings was very great and evident in our photos.
We went to a girl’s orphanage on Sunday afternoon after the end of the crusade. We gave the girls some candy and
cookies. We also gave money to the pastor who runs the orphanage to buy the girls new dresses and to help with
day to day expenses.
